Ron Dodge Tactical - Shoot House Course

About this Course

The Ron Dodge Tactical Shoot House course involves operating in a live-fire shoot house. During this course students will be instructed on individual movement and clearing techniques that may be employed for a home defense situation or a tactical retreat from a building under attack, i.e. active shooter. The course will deal with both pistol and rifle.

This course is broken down into 3 parts. First a flat range “warm up”. Next will be the tactical shoot house. Last we will use the shoot house as an apparatus for practical shooting competition. Down time will be occupied with flat range drills and competitions.

Prerequisite

CCW Tactics or pistol diagnostics and/or rifle diagnostics.

**Attendees wanting to use only a rifle or only a pistol are required to have completed the corresponding diagnostic course. Attendees wanting to use both a pistol and rifle during this course must have completed rifle diagnostics as well as either pistol diagnostics or CCW Tactics.***

Equipment You need to Bring

Eye and ear protection

Body armor (call if not equipped)

Pistol with holster and 3 mags with carriers

Minimum 200 pistol rounds

Rifle with sling and 3 mags with carriers

Minimum 200 rifle rounds

Students should bring food and beverage with them. There will not be a lunch break due to down time.
