About this Course
This series of classes will introduce the student to many aspects of utilizing a rifle which is equipped with a magnified optic. While the class is primarily a special purpose rifle / designated marksman rifle class, low power variable optics will also be discussed and demonstrated. This Course will be broken down into a series of 3 separate classes, each building off the other.
Students will observe benefits and limitations of various calibers and optics.

- Shooting Positions
- Stability
- Utilizing Reticles
- Target Engagement out to 800 yards.

- 300/person - per part
- Up to 12 students
Equipment You need to Bring
- 300 rounds of ammunition
- Rifle equipped with a magnified optic, capable of a 1 inch group at 100 yards.
- Data book (notepad and pen(s))
- Eye and ear protection
- Allergy meds (if applicable)
- Bipod and/ or shooting bags
- Shooting mat
- Range finder (recommended)
- At least 2 magazines
- Binoculars
- Tripod
- Spare batteries for electronics and optics
