About this Course

This advanced course is designed for law enforcement snipers looking to enhance their effectiveness in low-light and nighttime operations. Participants will refine their skills through a series of dynamic drills and qualifications, incorporating both white light and night vision techniques.

Course Topics:

  • FBI Sniper Qualification & Proficiency Drills – Day and low-light execution
  • Tripod Drills – Standing, kneeling, and sitting shooting positions
  • Barricade & Vehicle Engagements – Precision shooting from cover and within vehicles
  • Stress Drills – Decision-making and marksmanship under pressure
  • Night Vision Optic Review & Setup – Proper mounting, zeroing, and employment
  • Low-Light Shooting and Target Engagement – Utilizing ambient and artificial light
    sources

Equipment You need to Bring

  • Precision rifle with optic – Zeroed prior to class
  • 200 rounds of match-grade ammunition
  • Tripod with shooting rest
  • Body armor suitable for sniper operations
  • Duty uniform
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Data book, pen, and paper
  • Inclement weather gear
  • Flashlight (red lens preferred)
  • Binoculars and spotting scope
  • Shooting mat (optional)
  • Food and water (No meals provided)
  • Night vision optics (Recommended but not mandatory)
